In my last post (http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/t/19336888.aspxI) I wondered what 64-bit technology was on my Dell Dimension 9200. That meant that the computer could run a 64-bit OS, but now I wonder if it were built as a 32-bit or a 64-bit computer. Sorry for some sort of reposting. It happend because when I clicked on the post button it said it was an error with the site so I tried again and then I discovered that the posts actually had been posted.
Whether a computer is 32bit or 64bit is dependent on the processor. What processor do you have in your computer?
I have the standard processor that is a 2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 CPU
That processor is 64bit compatible. Meaning it will support both 32bit and 64bit operating systems.
