Dell Inspiron 23 5348 All In One PC Motherboard is it the same with Dell Optiplex 9030
I have a dell inspiron 23 5348 with defective onboard videochip.. I was looking for a replacement board and I was able to find one but it says it is also compatible with dell OptiPlex 9030?
how true is this?
can anybody from dell confirm it? because if I buy the board for OptiPlex 9030 it is a lot cheaper... I have the i5 model

These appear to be the same system, yes.

But the 5348 motherboard has a different part number, XHYJF.
You might want to call Dell Spare Parts and ask them if 0CYTN6 is compatible with the 5348. Have your Service Tag handy.

Thanks for all the replies...
I purchased the board with part number CN00TD00 from dell.. I have seen it on a sticker with QR code on my motherboard.

While you might have ordered the motherboard for the 9030, there a few differences between the two. The 9030 uses BIOS version A17. The 5348 uses A07. The 9030 also has a chassis intrusion detection. The 5348 does not have this on the board. Which means you will need to press F1 each time you boot the system. Does your touch screen function how it is supposed to as well? Probably not using the 9030 board.
