Dell Inspiron 531S Desktop Help
I turn on the computer but it turns off right away. The blue light flashes but quickly goes out. I have tried different outlets as well. What parts need replacement?

Have you ever replaced the CMOS battery? It's a nickel size battery (CR 2032) on the motherboard and can be purchased at any drug store or Walmart.

I have not. I'll try to replace it and see what happens. Could the problem also be with the power supply?

Probably not since it actually did start to boot which is an indication that the power supply is working.

So I replaced the cv2032 battery for my inspiron 530s, and now this pops up.

Enter Setup by pressing F2 and disable the diskette drive. Save changes and Exit Setup. This happened because you replaced the battery and setup used default values which includes a floppy drive. You'll also need to set the time once Windows boots up.

Since this is a networking issue open a new post in the network section and you should get some help.
