Hi there wondering if at all possiable to upgrade the processor on a Inspiron 537 MT as of now its bone stock minus adding a Geforce 8600GTS and a Antec 430 trio PSU along with a soundblaster X-fi extremegamer soundcard . The CPU in it is a celeron 450 Single core 2.20GHz looking to upgrade to at least a dual core . Thanks for Helping

Hi there chaarmn I am very happy with my upgrades as for multi-tasking I couldnt ask for a better set-up and gaming I have no problems running all newer titles along with some of the classics . Now for the 2nd part of question (price) this is or should say was my ballpark prices on equip.

Do you have to upgrade the power supply to go with the Q8400? I have the same computer and would like to do some video editing with it. Stang94 you upgraded the graphics card was that because you needed for gaming? My 537 is bone stock right now running Vista 64bit.
