Dell Inspiron 580s Dual Monitor with split VGA Cable?

I was wondering if my Dell Inspiron 580s can have two monitors with a split VGA cable to use. I know that i cant put the HDMI and VGA in at the same time since the built in Graphics card to the Motherboard which is the Intel (R) 4000 Graphics card. I was just making sure that I am able to do that before i buy a brand new Monitor.
