Dell Laser Printer 1320c

Hi, I'm new at all this and I don't even know if I'm in the right place, so please bear with me.

My 1320c printer has started making an horrible noise (a rapid knocking sound when printing)

can anybody tell me what this is, and how to cure it if possible.
