Dell Monitor stands
Hi this is a general question about the dell monitors.
I was going to get rid of some of my old smaller dell monitors since they do not have the HDMI option to plug in. But both of them have the type of stand with a square area that slides in and locks into the back of the monitor ( rather then screwed in place) and then there is a large black button to press to release the stand.
My question is while I will get rid of the monitors are the stands worth keeping? Does Dell still use this type back on its monitors? Just would like to keep a stand or two in case might be needed in the future.
thanks.

I"m tempted to do the same thing. Some of the newer monitors have really poor stands and the dell stands, especially like the one on my ultrasharp 2007FP is really nice and solid, height and tilt and rotate adjustable.
But I think I will need to adapt to the mount on the newer monitor. Worst case it looks like some long screws drilled through from the back to screw into the monitor will work.
