Dell R7910 Wks report less memory in Win 7 32bit OS
I have a concern / problem with Dell RACK workstation R7610 and R7910.
I am using the Windows 7 32bit OS on these system which are installed with 8GB physical memory.
Even if the system has 8GB system memory the Win 7 32bit OS will reports lesser than the 3GB (i.e.) 1.91Gb only.
I understand that 32bit OS can’t go beyond 4GB and at the max it may report 3.6GB but in these systems it is not even reporting 3GB which is really concerning a lot for them.
It looks Dell has published some sort of on these for T7610 notification http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN293968/en but I couldn’t find any such stuff for R7610 & R7910.
Is there anyway can we get these system reports 3GB memory on Win 7 32bit OS?

The OS must reserve some addressing space to manage hardware, so depending on the hardware you have will dictate how much less than 4GB you have available to use. 3.6GB is not standard ... it can be anything - 3.9, 3.8, 3.4, 3.1, 2.8, anything in between, or less.
Example ... take the graphics card out and see how much it reports.
You can't 'have [your] cake and eat it too". Why are you using 32-bit? Running a 32-bit OS on these machines is an utter waste of money and resources.

I did tried without the NVS card on R7910 and tried with the onboard video but it still report 1.9GB only.
We have a need to run the system with Windows 7 32bit OS as our planned migration for 64bit OS is will take another year.

And if you take it down to a total of 4 GB of physically installed RAM, how much RAM does it report?
