Dell Vostro 230 Settings Help in Bios with new geforce gtx card

Hi,

Dell Vostro 230 e7500

4(2x2)gb ram 1066

PNY enthusiast series Geforce gtx 560 ti

PSU Corsair vx550w

Heres my question,I aquired the PSU & Geforce from a buddy that had a old computer & didnt need it anymore so looks like its compatible.Everything seems to be fine just not sure if i need to make changes in the Bios now since im running a graphics card instead of the onboard card?looked in the bios and found these:

Initiate Graphics Adapter

IGD

PCI/IGD

PCI/PEG

PEG/IGD

Mines set to PEG/IGD

Video Memory

32mb,64mb,128mb(mine set to 32mb)

dvmt mode select-mine set to dvmt mode

dvtmt/fixed memory - 128mb,256mb,Max dvmt(forgot whats that checked to)

since i have a better pcie card whats the best settings?

thanks

Hi,

Welcome to our community.

Check whether the previous graphic driver is still existing in the control panel. If yes, please go ahead and uninstall the driver completely and re-install a fresh copy of driver from the vendor support site.

Let us know if this helped.
