Dell XPS 8300 Flashing lights and beeping
My XPS 8300 desktop won't boot. It beeps three times and the power light flashes an amber color. Help!

Hi mrchrism,
Thank you for writing to the Dell Community Forum.
Three beep codes with the power button light blinking indicates that there is a System board Failure. Steps that you could try is disconnecting the cables for the hard drive, optical drive, media card reader and try reseating the memory modules. You can reseat the video card or test it with the onboard video. Reseat the 4Pin ATX Power connector on the motherboard. Please refer to this link http://dell.to/1Mtt90r for the service manual.
