Dell XPS 8300 and Nvidia GTX 660Ti

Okay I know this has been asked before but not really answered.

I'm looking to buy a Nvidia GTX660 Ti, with a corsair 600w PSU. 

I have been reading that the GTX 680, and 670 has compatibility issues and wont post. 

But I have not read one saying that the 660 is compatible. I don't want to spend 300 bucks on something and it not work.

Please help?
