Dell XPS 8300 graphics card upgrade.
I am looking to upgrade my dell xps 8300 graphics card from a 6450 to a HD sapphire 7870 GHz oc edition. My only problem is that my 8300 has a 460w PSU. I was wondering if I could still run the 7870 with my PSU. I will not upgrade my PSU but will consider other graphics card options.

Hi FuzzyTrex,
The recommended power supply for HD sapphire 7870 card is 500 W; however the XPS 8300 system is shipped with 460 W power supply.
Also Dell has not tested the HD sapphire 7870 card with this system.
