Dell XPS Case vs. X58 Motherboard

A couple of weeks ago I joined the dell community since than I've upgrade my '05 Dell XPS 410 32-bit Vista with

Corsair 750TX

Corsair XMS 2 2x1GB DDR2 800Mhz  x2

EVGA GeForce 9800GT-SC 512MB

Intel Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz

WD CBlack 500GB 32MB 7200RPM x2 (In RAID 0)

EVGA Killer Xeno Pro

Thanks to all your help, But Now I Want To Replace My Motherboard for EVGA x58 3xSLI 132-BL-E758-TR Will This Fit Into My Dell XPS 410 Case ? Can I Make It Fit ?

If Not I Will Just Have To Build My Own PC And Sell This OneHow Much Do You Think Ill Get For It ?

Another Question How Can I Replace My HSF ? I've Yet To Find One That Fits The Motherboard :(

no you cannot put a non dell board into the case with out extensive modifications to the case, trying to find non existant front I/o cables and a new copy of windows.

you are better off going the DIY route and add in your hard and optical drives as that is about all you would really want to put into a new board

You will run into the same situation with the HSF. Only a Dell version will fit..

The EVGA motherboard formfactor is ATX and will not fit into the XPS 410 BTX case, plus when a non-Dell motherboard is used, you would need to buy new retail, or OEM copy of windows, as Dell's OEM copies are tied to their BIOS and cannot be activated.

Regards to the selling price of your XPS 410, go to eBay and check what similar models are being sold for.

Try contacting Dell Spare Parts. Most times it is best to call

Or try Ebay.

The OS Isn't A Problem. I Didn't Know The XPS 410 Case Was A BTX This Helps Alot. Also I've Looked And Only Found A Couple But At $500.00 I'm Better Off Keeping It .

Thank You Very Much

BTW: Im Really Interested In 3x SLI But I'm Having Trouble Picking The Right GPU 9800GTX or GTS 260 Their Around The Same Price, I Wish I could Get 3way with the 9800GT
