Dell external floppy module software

I have a Dell external floppy disk drive that's not being recognized by my Inspiron. I have tried downloading new drivers. But it reognizes the drive but can't operate it. Any suggestions.  model #19308813-76

#19308813-76 IS NOT a dell model number. You did not say what version of windows. Which specific Inspiron computer? MSDOS INT13 functions are removed from later versions of windows.  Windows 10 doesn't ship anymore with a diskcopy.dll and the floppy image can be extracted from *any* OS (XP to 8.1) and although there is still the possibility of using FreeDos or one of the other "alternative" DOSes freely available, it would be nice to provide an easy way to get the file (that is not redistributable) though obviously the internet is full of "DOS boot floppies" (which may however be of dubious VIRUS/MALWARE origins). In short FAT AND MBR and floppies are no longer supported.

This one for example is 9W031

W8805 is a USB floppy Drive.

Windows 8 and Windows 10 DO NOT SUPPORT MBR INT 13 BOOTING.  TEAC floppy drives in general are VERY picky about media.  What exactly are you trying to do when "operating" the disk.

You CANNOT BOOT MSDOS or WIN95 or WIN98 floppy media on a Secure Boot Windows 8.0 or 8.1 UEFI system.

Windows XP systems support MSDOS and WIN9X floppy Booting and install.

So again my model # is 0W8805-12571-5C6-0204. I have 2 Dells I fired up for the task. One is an XP service pack 3. The other is a 8.1. The 8.1 recognized the drive but couldn’t operate it. Tried downloading drivers but it still doesn’t work.

I would like to transfer all the files I have on floppy disk to a hard drive. I've looked for 8.1 drivers with no luck.

Secure Boot windows 8 and 10 DO NOT ALLOW MBR or DOS booting or XP booting Period End.

Use the XP machine to transfer the floppy files from the disks to a USB flash drive.   A 128 gig stick would hold the data from 88,000 diskettes.

TEAC drives in general will not read well and in some cases say disks are BAD that are readable by other vendors.

It would be best to look for a SONY or NEC floppy drive on an older machine with WIN9x to XP.

I'd be delighted use the XP machine. Tried it first but it does not recognize the Dell external floppy disk drive.
