Dell inspiron 620s not working

I am posting some pictures of my system which is Dell Inspiron 620s.

In that the Service Tag number and Express Service Code are also there.

It is not turning on. I think there are some hardware issues.

Kindly check them and help me.

Prime suspect would be the CPU socket and components -- looks like it's badly damaged.

This system will NEVER EVER Turn on again.

Socket is irreversibly damaged.  No Idea how this happened but its not recoverable.

So what should I do now?

At least the mainboard needs to be replaced.  It looks like the CPU was jammed into the socket incorrectly, so also check the bottom of the CPU - if it's similarly damaged, it will need to be replaced as well.

The CPU fits only one way into the socket -- there are arrows and notches indicating correct placement.  It is very easy to damage both the CPU and the socket if it's not inserted correctly before the latch is secured.

The SMSC chip is also damaged.

The ram sticks are also damaged.

One wire of the 24pin connector is also broken.

Sounds like you're probably better off buying a new system - by the time you buy a board, CPU, RAM and a power supply, you're going to be upward of 50% of the cost of a new system anyway.

Then should i build a custom PC

That CPU is decidedly low end for that mainboard/RAM and GPU -- it'll be the bottleneck in the system.

The i5-6400 would be a more appropriate choice.

I have found out the following hardware parts for my PC build:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2

GPU: Zotac Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB OC edition

RAM: Hyperx Fury 8GB DDR4 2133 MHz

CPU: Intel G4560 Pentium Dual Core LGA1151

PSU: Corsair VS450

Cabinet: Corsair Spec-01 carbide series

HDD: WD 1TB 7200RPM

Only you can answer that.  At the price point your current system sells for, you can't begin to build an equivalent system for the same money Dell (or Lenovo, or ASUS, etc.) sell for.

Once you go over the $500-600 threshold, you can build for less than it costs to buy a complete system - making fewer compromises along the way.

No i would  go for that CPU.

If you go for the Pentium Dual core, realize it's a budget CPU -- it's not going to be doing much if any gaming (which the choice of video card indicates might be a goal).

But i have seen many people using Intel G4560 paired with GTX 1050 Ti.

They can play games like battlefield 1 at 60fps high settings.

One example of a youtuber is

And also the CPU has Hyper Threading technology.
