Dimension 2400 video card upgrade?
I have a Dimension 2400 desktop that still has the factory video/graphics card. I have know very little about vid/graphics cards and I'm uncertain of what I should upgrade to. It's important to note that my main purpose of the upgrade is for better quality and smoother video while playing World of Warcraft. The game box says a 128 VRAM or better is recommended. I saw in another forum where an EVGA 128-P1-N309-LX GeForce FX 5200 128MB 64-bit DDR PCI Video Card was recommended for someone with the same computer but for different reasons. I'm wondering if this would serve my purpose or would I need something else/better. I greatly appreciate anyone's help in advance.

The most powerful PCI cards currently available seems to be based on the 9500GT. There are a few 9400GT-based ones, as well, and they're a little cheaper and at least one is passively cooled.
I wouldn't recommend the ancient 5200 or the 6200.

Whew, thank you much for your input. I would've hated getting a dino vid card! I've looked on Newegg.com and seen a few of the ones you're talking about. Most are in the $49.99 to $69.99 range. Which is pretty reasonable I'd say, but are there any you'd recommend in particular? Any certain brand or model?
