Dimension 9200 cpu

Jump to solution

Hi all,

I ran my 9200 on an E6700 2.66 with no probs. Can I upgarde to the new E6700 3.2, the old one was a 65nm and the new one is a 45nm. Does that make a difference. (forgive my ignorance)

Cheers Alan.

Alan,

The Dimension 9200/XPS410 does not support any 45nm processors.

Hi Alan,

This old thread has a long list of compatible processors. I don't see that one on the list, but there are some quad core CPUs.
