Dimension e510 USB Ports

hey everyone im new to the fourms and i have Dimension e510 and for those of you who have a e510 i just got though the amber blinking light of death (it was a pain) Everything seems to be working fine ecept the two usb ports in the front are not working and my CD rom wont open plz someone tell me how i can fix these two problems
