Display has changed colour overnight!
When I awoke my computer this morning the display had an artificial hue and reduced brightness.. Checked photos, people all have yellow faces!
(W10 Home on XPS2720)

You mentioned, "awoke", that implies that the operating system was in some sleep mode. Have you since turned it off, then on, to see if it corrects itself?
* Click Start- Shutdown- Shutdown- Ok
* Power on and check

Yes I tried a restart and it made no difference.

The XPS One 2720 shipped with either the =
Intel HD Integrated Graphics
or the =
Nvidia GeForce GT 750M
Which one do you have installed? Check the Device Manager or your Dell invoice. Whichever one, you should reinstall that Video driver. When finished, restart the computer.

Thanks for the suggestion. It is the 750M. But I have now plugged in an external monitor and it works fine, so the problem must be a screen failure. Did I take the three year extended warranty? No, unfortunately I did not, but very disappointing for this to occur. This is my 4th Dell, but I will not chance it again.
