Driver for optiplex 760 causing system lockup on boot

Hi all, I have just purchased a new optiplex 760 and am having problems with system lockups and automatic restart when the system is booted. I can get into all of the safe modes without any problem. I couldn't find out what was causing the lockup so I wiped the hard drive and started over. When installing the drivers one by one I discovered that  the video driver is the culprit. So right now i have a generic driver installed for the video card but it does not allow the correct screen resolution for our monitor so I need to find a fix. Any suggestions on where I can get a correct driver for this card? Is it possible that i have a bad MB or VC? we have several of these machines with the same configuration and this is the only one that has this problem.

Thanks

What operating system are you using and what video card?  What version of the drivers are you trying to install?

Windows XP Professional, and the latest drivers from dell's website.

However it is fixed now. Problem was traced to a bad video card, new mobo was sent and installed and it works fine now.
