EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB SC GAMING

Hello

I want to install  EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB SC GAMING in my Dell Inspiron 3847.  I want to replace my psu to a Corsair 550 W RM550x? Not sure if my motherboard is 20 or 24 pin. Will this set up work? Thank you for your time.

You could use a Nvidia GTX 1060 just not the one you mentioned you'd need to use this one or else it won't fit inside.

You can however can use a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 Mini 6GB Compact Mining VGA Graphics Card ZT-P10600A-10L

For a power supply upgrade you can't use a Corsair RM550x as it needs ATX12V 2.x this system has ATX12V 1.x  which is 20 pin not 24 pin like tor RM550x.

You could use a EVGA 700 B1
