Failed boot to Black screen with white cursor and errors from DDDP.

I have a Pavillon h8-1020 which started showing a black screen with a blinking cursor after initial startup screen.

I ran all options in the utility mode except complete factory reset.  I downloaded the Dell Diagnostic Deployment Package and booted from it.

I ran the tests and got these errors

4C00:0522 - System Interrupt controller or device failed

These all failed

4600:021E -  SMBIOS  unidentified LM78A

4600:021E -  SMBIOS  Fan1

4600:021E -  SMBIOS  chip fan 2

I put an old HD in and it starts to boot to the os then reboots.  This is further than it gets with the original drive.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
