How can I find my XPS model #?
I know it kinda sounds dumb but I am not home right now. ie. from reboot screen? property?

After you turn on your computer it gives you the model number, eg. Dimension, XPS etc.
or
Start > Control Panel > System

Go here and enter your PC service tag number. it should list it on the main page.
