GX280 sff, graphics card help
Hi people, just joined this site and hope to get some answere's :emotion-1:,
I've just bought a gx280 sff pc
p4 3.0 Gb
2Mb Ram
80Gb HD
onboard graphics
however had i known that this came with a 160w psu i really wouldn't have bought it, (my fault for not checking specs on dell)
I've been searching the web and this site for answer's but most seem very old.
I've been looking here
http://archive.atomicmpc.com.au/forums.asp?s=2&c=7&t=9354
and it seems that the newer cards draw less power than the older ones, also I realise I need a low profile card,,I also realise that if you look at requirements on the box they say you need a psu 300w and above for these cards
does anyone have one of these pc's that runs a graphics card,if so which one,or does anyone know what card will definately run with this psu?
many thanks

Hi Barry,
On that PSU, there are probably no cards that will run and improve your video performance.

Hi Osprey4
thanks for the answer,as I said I've googled for days and people are/have run graphics cards on this setup, but the posts were quite old (Some on this site). I thought this site would be ideal for getting help with this as it's a dell pc. I guess you have to know how much wattage the peripharal devicess are taking and how much is left

this site I found quite handy, as well as the site in my original post which gives the wattage graphics cards actually take,I was really hoping someone would get in touch who's had one of these pc's and fitted a graphics card
thanks anyway
