HDMI card for Optiplex 9020M post purchase
Hi,
I managed to pick up a "bargain" Optiplex 9020M from Dell outlet which I was planning to use as a HTPC. Being an outlet model, I did not have the option of specifying the (optional - £32.50) hdmi card, and obviously it was not already included. This did not concern me I figured if it was optional when ordering, Dell should be able to provide one for retrofit.
However despite much googling and forum searching I am unable to find any details that might help me order this card from dell. I contacted Dell sales a couple of weeks ago who (after suggesting a "normal" PCI-e HDMI card) promised to look into it and get back to me - not heard back.
The 9020M owners manual clearly shows that this feature is supported with instructions on how to remove and replace this card. Unfortunately no details about where to obtain this card.

If anyone can tell me how to get this hdmi card it would be appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi Sean,
Looking at your link. Maybe the RH40T includes the cable?
Cheers

Got the quote. Doesn't really have much info:
I'm going to order it and see what comes though.

Hi Paul,
Thanks again for the useful info. I cannot quite read the Item-No in the screenshot. I guess it is CPA-RH40T?
Many thanks

Does the "kit" include a cable ? If it doesn't this will be a part that fits but doesn't actually do anything.

Hi!
I'm new here and I'm just wondering where I can get one of those kits with HDMI port and cable. Iäm also looking for a complete WiFi setup. Anyone know where to find these parts?
Best Regards SA0ASG

in case anyone finds this and is having trouble finding the part, looks like there's some on ebay as well for $15.00 (at least, at the time of this post)

Jumping into this conversation late - I have the part on my screen but before I click "Order" I want to know if you guys used it in place of what was in the 9020m or in addition to? Want to confirm that it worked in the "optional" HDMI/display port area, so that utilizing a third monitor could be done?

I just got my order from Dell delivered for part WFJ0V, and unfortunately, the kit does not include the screws. I have hundreds of computer screws in my collection, but only two had this specific diameter and thread pitch. Both are too long and I am dead in the water.
