How do I hook up Logitech X-530 speakers ???????

Need some help here. I have a Dell Dimension 3000 pc with Windows xp pro, there is only 1 speaker jack on back marked line-out connector. The Logitech X-530 surround sound has 3 wires that go to back of pc. Called Logitech and the guy there said I may have to buy sound card or splitter and also se if my pc will handle 5.1 system. Not too much of a help. He said to call Dell. Sams Club where I purchased speakers said I did not need anything to hook them up. they told me to use mic connector,line-out connector, and headphone connector for 3 wires. I am ready to just take them back to the store. Anybody out there with an answer please help !!!!!!

Since your integrated sound card only supports stereo, u shuld only need to plug in the connector for the front. That is, the green one (usually). Most speaker systems will automatically upmix the sound to make use of all the speakers or else there will be a button to let u do so (for the x-530's, it should be on one of the speakers).
