Hybrid Studio 140g boot failrure after update bios to 1.0.10
Hello every body,
I am in big trouble with my new buy Hybrid Studio 140g.
Yesterday I made the update of the bios as recommanded on the support DELL site but I forget that I was having a video DVD on the PC then windows updating said me that the Bios flash was ok and that it will have two reboot and that can take 5 minutes.
Then the computer reboot and nothing happened ... I wait 1 all the night and nothing more.
Now when I switch on the compoter the power button steel amber and I can't eject the video DVD that is in ...
Could someone here help me to solve my BIG problem ?
You are my last chance, and I don't want to wait Monday to contant DELL online support center

Hello,
I sen the PC to Dell SAV and thez reset the bios; After thet the PC start but not each time, then I downlodd BIOS 1.0.9 and flash it, now everything works fine.
I think 1.0.10 is not compatible with all version of Hybrid.
Best regards

Hi
I also had the same problem, after upgrading to 1.0.10. there was no signal on the HDMI (no signal that my TV recognized anyway). When attaching a monitor to the DVI port the Hybrid booted fine (and when removing the DVI-cable, the HDMI-signal appeared).. But booting on a separate monitor to get a HDMI-signal, wasn't a practical solution :emotion-1: , downgrading the BIOS to 1.0.09 worked for me.

Same here. After upgrading to 1.0.10 the hybrid would not boot and the power LED would remain orange, with the fan at high speed. Had to keep the button pressed for 4 secs to turn it off.
I was able to boot by disconnecting the HDMI cable and then turning on the hybrid. It would start with the same orange LED but soon continue with the normal boot. I'd attach the HDMI after a while and got Windows to show up on the TV. I immediately went back to bios 1.0.9!
