I Want To Update My Graphics Card For Inspiron 560ST
Hey ,
I want to upgrade my current video card (ATI Radeo(TM) HD 4350 512MB DDR2) to 1gb...........
can you suggest me which video card can i get that will support my motherboard
all recomendations are welcome

Hi Abyknikhil,
There is a long thread HERE on the topic of replacing the video card in an Inspiron 560ST, with some recommendations. Your case is small so it may limit your options. You need a low-profile card, and you need to make sure your power supply can handle whatever card you get.

When i asked dell support they told me a specific radeon name and they said only that will support is that true

If you search the forums, you'll see that most of the regulars do not recommend slim case models. The reason is lack of upgradeability. The power supply in your 560ST is not a standard ATX, so it cannot be upgraded. If you want to upgrade your graphics cards, your choices are fairly limited.

The requirements are overstated; my 540s (slim case) worked very well with a 4650 low profile card, despite a 250-watt power supply.
My Core i5 quad-core (HP slim case) has a 6570 low profile card and 300-watt TFX power supply. I haven't had any issues.
