When I open my computer today, it holds at dell logo and cannot open windows 8. I press my keyboard but no action. F2, F12, F8...nothing can work but the screen keeps on showing the dell logo. how can I do?

I just unplugged my hard disk and it can go to the bios and select reboot method, does it mean the hard disk problem? but I cannot re-install using the CD ROM as the hard drive is unplugged. how can I restart the computer normally?
