In Devices and Printers my PC suddenly changed to a laptop. How can this happen? I've checked bios, performance info, PC DR, etc..... and they all state the correct computer and related info. What do I do to fix this?
This means nothing. It is just an icon, not a true picture of your computer. You can ignore it. It is a generic icon of any computer. Sometimes it shows up as an odd representation as in this case. Your computer should not even show up as a printer or fax machine anyway. I have an extremely odd Dell waterstone touchpad under Devices that pictures a laptop and I have a desktop. No clue what that is.
