Inspiron 24 3455 Series Dual Monitor Issue

It has a HDMI out and I have it hooked up to a Dell monitor SE2216H but it will not recognize it. I've switched monitor to HDMI and went in to all settings on the All in One I could find to try and use it. The computer is running Windows 10. Will this All in One support the dual monitor? I've scrubbed the internet with no luck on finding out how. Help please!

Hi,

The insp 3455 has an hdmi out. In order to utilize that, you have to connect the hdmi cable between the monitor and the system. While on the desktop screen or at the login screen press the 'Windows key' + P change the display mode to extended display.

Also make sure that the the graphics drivers and BIOS firmware is up to date.

Here is how to work the monitor http://dell.to/2gEtW4w

Thanks Aniketh. I had done exactly as you said so it prompted me to try a different HDMI cable and it worked. I had a bad HDMI cable (which was new, of course). Thanks again!
