Inspiron 620 - CPU Upgrade
Hi,
I am Aung. Nice to meet you all.
I want to buy Dell Inspiron 620 form one of my friend. Currently with Core(TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz. I think its Intel H61 Express Chip.
I will upgrade this pc after 6 months or more then 6 month.
I do want to know that Can I Upgrade that PC to Core i7 ?(Third gen - fourth gen). Can I add graphic Card in PCI-Experss (Gtx 750)? Still worth to buy and Upgrade-able in future?

No you cannot upgrade to "different" generations of Intel Core i7 CPUs, Aung.
Only "Sandy Bridge" i7 CPUs (aka. 2nd gen) will work. Core i7 from Ivy Bridge (3rd gen) and Haswell (4th gen) and later will not work and the Dell 620 will not boot up at all.
I know cuz my family bought a Dell Inspiron 620 machine in late summer 2011 that came with an Intel Core i5-2310 2.90Ghz CPU. The fastest CPU that might work could be an i7-2700k (within Sandy Bridge generation).

The CPU answer is correct. The GPU can be upgraded within the limits of the physical dimensions of the case and the capacity of the power supply.

on the safe side, I might as well upgrade the CPU of my family's Dell Inspiron 620 computer from an Intel Core i5-2310 to an Intel Core i5-2500 (NOT 2500K, 2500S nor 2500T) since I already updated the BIOS to revision A10 a few years ago. upgrading from i5-2310 to i5-2320 isn't worth it for me.
rule of thumb: never do any CPU upgrades without doing any BIOS updates first, unless the BIOS version is already the latest available for the Dell computer.
