I have an Inspiron Desktop 530. I was on my email, and suddenly the "blue screen" came on. It did not stay on long enough for me to see what error it was. When I turn the computer back on, the only thing that shows up on the screen is the Dell start up logo. I can't contact dell customer service because apparently, my "warranty has expired". I haven't even had the computer for 2 years! How am I supposed to fix this if you can't contact them? This is unacceptable. But to any of you that have had this problem and resolved it, can you help me out?
EDIT: go into your bios settings and disable automatically restart when an error is displayed.
Then post the code that is being displayed.
The blue screen was up for one second. I couldn't get the number displayed. Also, when I turn on the computer, it stops booting at the dell logo. Normally it shows up for a few seconds then continues booting. I can't access the bios because the keyboard is unresponsive.
