Inspiron One 2020, speakers are the worst
To save myself a lot of typing I must agree with everyone here - word for word. The worst speakers I have ever had on any of my past computers. They actually sound like they are blown from day one.

Hi icarus7z7,
Has it been this way since the purchase ? May I know what exactly is the issue with the speaker . Have you tried a different player ? May I know which player currently installed in the system. Also, does the issue persist in headphones?

Yes the speakers has acted this way since purchase, A little over a year. The best way I can describe it is, the speakers sound as if they are blown when listening to anything that has any bass. I've experimented with everything at Speaker Properties - levels and Enhancements etc....
And, everything sounds great with headphones on.
I've tried many players - Windows Media Player, Win8DVD Player,FLV and Media Player, Quicktime, VLC media player, PowerDVD....
Right now I only use Windows Media Player and Win8DVD Player.
