Inspiron One 2205 won't power up after sleep mode

Inspiron One 2205 won't power up after sleep mode.

I don't see this exact problem reported in the forum anywhere or the FAQ's. I have an all in one 2205 model.

The issue is when the computer goes into sleep mode I can't wake it up. I have tried moving the wireless mouse, executing keys on the keyboard. depressing the power button once, and holding down the power button for 15 seconds. None of these efforts wake the computer up. The condition of the power button is flashing amber in sleep mode and remains that way no matter what I try. I tried a hard boot by unplugging the power supply from the AC outlet and plugging it back in, it makes no difference.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
