Inspiron One 2320 Touchscreen Stopped Working

We've had this Inspiron One 2320 for a short time (and we love it) but the touchscreen has stopped working. Can someone point me in the right direction? Drivers to reinstall, etc?

Thanks!

Hi  barberjo,

Welcome to the community.

You can update the chipset drivers for your computer.

Please open the following link:

http://tinyurl.com/6w34omj

You will find the chipset drivers under this link.

And please make sure that the touchscreen services are enabled.

Please perform the following steps:

Click on "Start" button at the left bottom of the screen.

Type "services.msc" in search box and press "enter".

You will reach in Services window.

In services, please make sure that "Tablet input PC "service is set as "Start".

Please reply us if it works for you.

I also have a Inspiorn One 2320 that has had touch screen problems.  The Chipset driver resolved the issue.  Thank you.  Dell's tech support in India had no clue as to reslove the issue.  Over six hours of wasted time was spent dealing with "tech support".  They had no idea as to if it was a software or hardware issue.  Dell tech support is totally useless.

The Chipset driver did solve the problem until the system was put in sleep mode then did not work.  Dell Tech Support really has no clue how to fix this issue.  Found Microsoft KB 2405640 which addresses the issue.  Dell never referenced this.  Contacted Microsoft Support and stated they have not resolved the issue.
