Installed Second Hard Drive, Not Being Recognized
I Have A Dell XPS 400 XP Operating System Desk Top Computer. It Have Four Connectors On The Mother Board For Hard Drive, One Is Blue In Color And The Other Three Are Black. The Blue One Is The Only One The System Will Recognize. It's A Jumper By One Of The Black Sockets, Do That Suppose To Be Changed.
The Hard Drives Are Western Digital Caviar SE 16 SATA (Serial ATA High-Speed Storage)
Need Help,
Thank You

Hello,
No, do not change the jumper.
You need to enter the BIOS settings and turn on the hard drive channels that you will be using. :emotion-21:

Thank You
Went Into Setting And Turned On Socket # 1 Which Was The Wrong One. After Taking A Second Look, It Was Socket # 2 That Needed To Be Turned On And Now I Am All Set.
Thanks Again
