Intel G965 Graphics Controller Drivers

I've noticed that the drivers for the G965 Graphics Controller Dell has on this site are not the latest drivers available. In the driver section you have v14.10.4, but on the Intel website they have v14.31.1. Now my problem is yes I know the graphics are integrated so it needs all the help it can get and having the latest driver will help, if only a little. But when i try to install the driver from the Intel site it says "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate from the computers manufacturer. Setup will exit" So my question is will Dell ever make this driver available considering its part of my computer? Or are they just 2 completely different things?

I have never had an issue using the Intel drivers on a Dell. Did you try the auto INF update installer?
It contains all the Chipset drivers including for Video. What OS? XP?

ok heres my issue...I'll tell you what exactly what I do. 1. I go to the Intel website> support and downloads. Then I search G965. 2. I get a few results. I choose the top result "chipsets - Intel G965 express chipset family" 3. then I go to graphic driver download 4. then I download the driver and get the error stated in my first post. Am I trying to install the wrong driver?

ok, i just ran it on a Dell PC without the correct chipset and I get "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software, Setup will exit"

Now please give more info, what Operating System? What Model is your system? I cant tell you if your getting the correct package w/o this info. Apparently Intel says its wrong.

I have the same problem trying to run NWN 2 on my new Dimension 9200c running Vista Home Premium.  This is a DX10 chip + driver.  Intel's up to driver 15.6.1.1329 (September 19 2007) while DELL has 14.0010.1147.

Please help!  Thanks,
