Intel driver support for 4k@60HZ when? - OptiPlex 9020
I have a new LG 65" 4K OLED TV and spent quite a bit of money getting a Club3d displayport v1.2 to HDMI v2.0 4k@60hz UHD adapter for £45, hdmi-hdmi 2.0 cable £15 but have just found out now I cannot use them because Dell only provide an older Intel graphics driver v10.xx, where the current Intel site drivers are now over v15.xx and support 4k@60hz.
Is Dell going to update the graphic drivers as I cannot install the latest intel one's from their site, it says cannot install on this platform - contact your machine manufacturers for updates.
I have an OptiPlex 9020 USFF that I have been upgrading ready for my 4k display and now hit this wall, the spec now is an Intel gen4 i7 4790s and 8gb ram, which intel says this CPU fully supports 4k@60hz but due to the current driver limitation I can only get up to 4K@30hz
Please help Dell or have I wasted £55 + upgrade costs?

Unless there is a workaround you probably will not be able to get it. Dell only updates drivers if something is wrong with the current one unfortunately.

Ahh forgot about that. Also Intel's drivers are designed to cover a wide area of their products, weather it supports some functions or not.
