Keyboard and Mouse stopped working

I have an XPS420 and I am using Logitechs G19 keyboard with an MX1000 bluetooth wireless mouse; until recently the mouse cannot connect to the bluetooth and the mute button and volume control wheel stopped working on the keyboard.  The USB dongle was on the keyboard, but I have moved it to the computer and the mouse still can't connect.  The LCD screen still works and the keyboard functions fine except for the media keys and it has to be restarted manually after start-up.

This glitch happened after a computer crash and I successfully restored the computer to an earlier time.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the new and back to the old logitech software and I even uninstalled the device drivers and restarted the computer and the drivers reinstalled themselves. 

I am stumped and hoping somebody else had the same problem and was able to get it to start working again.
