Low 8800gtx temps with 2 extra fans XPS 720
ive fitted 2 fans onto my pc, one on the front and the other on the back, my gtx never goes above 65c idles
at 47c :) (just attached it straight onto the grill, does the job )
before i did this my card was reaching 82c under load, just to let other users know if there having overheating issues its a cost effective way of cooling :)

I've noticed that a fan could fit on the front grill, how did you attach it?
To be perfectly honest, I'm more interested in your CPU temps as the front and back fans you mounted align with the CPU heatsink.
Let me know how you mounted the front...
Good job!

the fan is just held on with 2 normal fan screws, the other two wouldn't fit, as for the fan on the back of the pc there was already 4 pre drilled holes, cpu temps
temps taken after playing on the witcher for 3 hours, room temp(24c) sorry dont know the brand, it was from my brothers old pc case, it wont really effect the cpu temps because its not blowing air on the heat sink

the fans are cool, but how about this for an even more cost effective way to cool your 8800GTX...
turn on the GPU fan :mantongue:
with nvidia system tools, you can set it to run at 80% at startup.
