Media card reader disappeared

I was checking my computer hardware and noticed my 13in1 removable disks don't appear in the window any more . They were there yesterday.

Dimension E310 windows XP sp2. machine is 6 mos.old and all updates are older by a year.

any suggestions?

Problem solved. Re-seated connectors for device and everything is o.k.

I was wondering if that was the problem when I saw the title of your message. It has happened twice to me now. It seems those connectors do not fit tightly enough.

Hi,

Yeah, I felt like a fool in that is what i should have thought of first.

The connectors weren't off,just needed to be reseated i guess.
