Microsoft Cooks the books with its "standards based" benchmark Chalkboard.
URLs (if applicable) : http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/Performance/Chalkboard/
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 5: Works
Firefox 4.x: Works
IE 7/8/9/10: Works
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Got to the URL http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/Performance/Chalkboard/
2. Click Run Benchmark What is the expected result? The Chalkboard test should run
What happens instead? Chrome crashes

I agree. But I still like to have choices. The benchmark runs in seconds on IE10 because microsoft sets it up to run fastest on their browser not really because they are faster. Its a test that's rigged.

That's what you say to everybody! Somebody might think you work for Microsoft. :emotion-4:
My Dell can't run Win 8 (no NX support) and a new PC isn't in the budget. I'd also need new software and printers if I update the OS, even to Win 7, so it ain't gonna happen, at least as long as everything is still working.

Why does that site say I need to upgrade to IE8 when I already have IE8 and IE9 won't run under XP?
And when I ran the test, all I got is a box with a red X in the corner and nothing else.

I don't work for any tech company. Probably never will. Microsoft's attempt at limiting piracy is only going to increase it.

Geeks.com had the GX620 with DVD drive, 2gb RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium for $105.
Sold out immediately, though.
