My Dell SX2210b built in webcam isn't showing up in device manager nor is it even functioning

This is a problem I have been having recently and I need some help so I can fix this problem. My webcam was working until one day when I was attempting to fix my computer I uninstalled the driver for the webcam. Ever since then the webcam doesn't function.

My system specs are such:

Welcome to the Dell Community Forum.

Please check in Device Manager under Imaging Devices if you could find the Webcam option listed, un-install the same and re-install the software by clicking on this link http://ow.ly/EHNi2. Also click on this link which has more information on the Dell Webcam Central Software here http://ow.ly/EHNuC

I can't find it in the device manager, I wiped my computer clean and its still not showing up

XPS9100 05DN3X motherboard

The camera requires a USB cable from the monitor to the back USB ports on the system.  The monitor drivers and webcam central are not native to windows. CHIPSET Drivers should be installed BEFORE the webcam Driver
