Need help with my Dell Optiplex 760 Upgrade CPU? Not sure?

Hi,

I'm new here & no computer savvy. I bought this Dell windows 10 optiplex 760 & thought everything would run great, but it cannot run games. It says my drivers are out of date & I cannot update them because they are not compatible with windows 10. The error message says CPU unknown? Pixel format not accelerated, outdated video card drivers. No OpenGL context found in the current thread.

Im not sure if I can upgrade my video card, or CPU? Here are my specs:

sthomas795,

You would need to replace the motherboard. Replacing the CPU and Video card would still not work for you with Windows10. There would still be no drivers for the motherboard.

There are no driver updates for the Intel graphics.  Basic games will work with Radeon 6450.

However the base ram is DDR2 so updating to 8 gigs of ram isn't going to improve performance much.
