Need some help selecting graphics card.....

I'm looking for a cheap/decent video card for an older inspiron 530 desktop (non-slim version). Specs are as follows: Core 2 duo processor, 4gb ram, 320gb hard drive (currently there is no video card installed). I need one that can run two monitors (VGA), will not be used for gaming. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

You have one PCIe x16 slot on the motherboard so any of the low end video cards will work. You can find them locally or here.

Chris, thanks for the link! A local store has this same card, will it work?

Actually now that I looked again, the monitors have VGA and DVI connections. So I should be able to run the first monitor DVI to DVI and the second monitor DVI to HDMI correct? After looking a little more I think I'm gonna try this card from newegg:

Since my PC uses DDR2 memory the video card using DDR3 shouldn't be an issue correct?

Thanks again for the help!!

I'm unsure if that card will provide two DSUB (VGA) connections.

Having different memory on your system and the video card does not matter.  It will work fine.

That card will work with 2 vga monitors but you will need to buy a dvi to vga adapter if it doesnt come with one.

Is the DVI port a DVD-I (both analog and digital) or a DVD-D (digital only)?

Not sure, will have to take a look. Will I need to look just on the back of the monitors? Are most video cards both DVD-I and DVD-D compatible?
