New Laptop with dual hard drives
Inspiron 3668 Service Tag
Because my computer is DUAL drive with my C drive, 128GB SSD, containing my OS while my D drive, 1TB GB 7.2k HDD, containing all of my DATA. My Factory mouse functions however, were set up as a SINGLE drive machine to where when I right click, send to, DOCUMENTS and when I file, SAVE or SAVE AS on anything it automatically defaults to my C drive.
How do I change those pathways to default to my D drive?
PS…I am not all that computer literate.

The documents folder is a windows directory all windows directories will be on the C: drive you can't really change this but what you could do is make your own documents folder on your D: drive and move everything there. Also when saving documents choose save as and choose the documents folder in the D: drive.

Thank you ejn63, I had already tried that and it did not work; so it appears that I will have to resort to saving my documents as elpro999dell suggested.
After all these years of working with Microsoft, you would think that Dell would know about dealing with different default settings when you have dual drives.
