". When the computer is locked, the power button remains lit but no peripherals indicate that the computer is on. The optical mouse is not lit. Interestingly, holding down the power button for 5 or 10 seconds does not cause the computer to shut off - the only way to reboot is to pull the power plug and then hit the power to turn it back on."
I have same problem with Dell HD ZINO.. do you have solution ? thx!
Now after more than 2 Years after I had the Problem i did not have any Problems any more...
... until the Had Drive crashed just some weeks ago.
There are 2 Things I discovered:
First': there seems to be a Problem with the energy saving modes. Remember the Hardware of the Zino is Notebook Hardware. Maybe after some kind of energy saving Mode it waits to be waked up by opening the screen ... what we cannot ... so keep it in the High Performance Mode.
Second: after opening the Zino to replace the haddrive I nearly burned my fingers ... it is getting extremly hot inside.
I am already running it on a cooling Pad so without it should even be more hot inside 😮
Mine too. Maybe that's why the ZINO was quietly and unceremoniously discontinued. There does not appear to be a "fix" for this problem. Just get a new computer - preferably NOT a Dell.
