If your PC is one of those not tested by Dell for Windows 10, who knows?

reboot

F12

Dell Diagnostics

I don't understand, "one of those not tested by Dell for Windows 10".  The PC has been running fine up until yesterday.

F12 Diagnostics brings up the ePSA screen. I ran the full, thorough test overnight and it showed "Success!" with green checkmarks next to every device.  After reboot, I get the same screen, "No Boot Device Available".

Only reporting what I have read on these forums. Some units have been bricked by Windows 10.

HDD is dead. The only reason it passed the diagnostic test was that it found the second HDD I had installed.

Gee, a second hard drive would have been nice information to know.

It sounds like your Inspiron was delivered with Windows 10; if so, compatibility would never be an issue.

Good you found the problem. I imagine Dell will send you a replacement HDD and all will be well emoticon.BigSmile.title
