No audio
I just bought a Dell Inspiron 3650 desktop computer and the audio doesn't work. The device drivers are working properly. It says that Realtek audio is not plugged in. Does this mean that there is no internal audio? Do I have to buy speakers or something else in order to have any kind of audio? I'm not computer savvy so please don't reply too technical. Thank you

Hi Pamela856,
Thanks for posting.
Yes, you will need external speakers to hear audio from your desktop computer.

Pamela856,
The Realtek Audio Manager is supplied by Realtek. Your motherboard may have an on-board sound built into it because of which you have the Realtek audio manager installed on your computer.
You can purchase any type of computer speakers you wish, they are available as just a pair for under $10, but have very low audio quality, to expensive Home Theater Systems.

Thank you Robert. Can you tell me what Realtek audio is? Do I need to buy a certain kind of speaker? I appreciate your time.
